Goram
Signs Autographs At Riverside

Institute manager John Gregg has made his first
signing, but can thank former manager Liam Beckett for his connections.
Andy Goram, the former Rangers and Scottish
International, has agreed to sign a short deal until the end
of the season as cover for the injured Michael Doherty.
Michael chipped a bone in his shoulder during
the Portadown game last week and will be out for the remainder
of the season. Therefore John was keen to get a back up keeper
signed and Liam Beckett contacted Andy on John's behalf.
Andy Goram, now 43 years old, is still involved
with the game as he is a goalkeeping coach with Clyde.
The Riverside is somewhere Andy already knows
well, as he was a member of the Rangers Legend squad that played
at Drumahoe last summer.
As the former Rangers, Oldham Athletic A.F.C.,
Hibernian F.C and Manchester United star was not registered
for any club at present 'Stute have been able to sign Andy outside
the transfer window.
The former Scottish keeper will not train with
'Stute, but will only travel if required to play. Supporters
are advised that Andy is only signed as back up keeper to Alan
Ryan, but John felt it was important to have another keeper
signed for the run in.
Institute FC would like to thank Clyde FC for
agreeing to the short term deal. Andy will continue to coach
during the week with Clyde.
